The ramblings of the Mason family...

We had a pigeon pair fridge/freeze (ie. two separate standalone units) and the freezer decided it had had enough with life and died.  Well, that is after we spend $350 trying to bring it back - not to mention the food which spoilt.  When the resuscitation attempts failed the freezer went straight to the tip and we now have a 3rd beer fridge - oh yeah!!!  Of course you can't buy new ones in the same dimensions, we went out and bought a monster twin door unit - very cool (pardon the pun); only problem is it was too tall and not as wide as the pigeon pair - a neighbour kindly cut the cupboards to give us the height.  After a number of "no thank you's" from trademen due to the job of building some shelves being too small we have had the gap for over three months now.  I finally decided well, hey how hard can it be - after buying some melamine I managed to build some shelves to fill the gap, see the before and after shots below:

I didn't realise the concrete out the back was dirty until I got the gurney out...
