Trick or treat!

We walked the neighbourhood trick or treating homes.  There were groups of kids doing the rounds.  Most of the kids had gone to alot of effort as did the homes, some of the owners even came to the door dressed up.  Next year we will probably get some pumpkins with candles and more lollies!

I guess the photo's tell all really.  Another hot weekend and yours truly is out in the sun and heat doing manual labour.  Well, it's pretty much done now, no more watering and no more mowing.  I just have another coat of stain and some border stones.
PS No sign of the friendly blue tongue lizard this time.

Sophies stitches

I've finally done it - I've joined the club of parents who have rushed their kids up to the local emergency department to get stitches!!  Sophie found out first hand what happens when she lies on the office chair and gets her over exuberant brother to spin her around as fast as he can .... the chair tips over and ones chin hits the desk very hard!  Four stitches later they are both feeling a little remorseful and have promised not to surf on the office equipment again!

A Greek Affair 2007

Today we made our annual pilgrimage to the local Greek church to join in the festivities of their annual fair.  The Knights joined us in what has become a tradition over the last four years – a quick fossick in the trash n’ treasure to pick up some good books.

Busy day today.  Nou and Suphannee had some wedding photo's on our front lawn followed by a tradional Thai and Laos wedding at their place.  Loads of food and drink.  We are off to their Australian wedding soon (same day) at Roma St Parklands followed by a reception at the Brisbane town hall.  Boy is it going to be hot all dressed up!  Check out a happy snap below:
