Camping at Binna Burra

After a long break from camping because of the infamous spider episode (when we found a funnel web in the tent!!) we finally decided to get our hiking boots on again and spent a long weekend up at Binna Burra, our favourite camping spot.  It’s set in the bush, has loads of great walking tracks, and is one of the few camping spots in Queensland that allows campfires.

I am a very proud Aunty again after the arrival of James Sydney (just love the name!).  He is a gorgeous little man and just loves his cuddles with his Aunty Kerrie.  He is a real snuggler and will often doze off in my arms, except when he is hungry and only his Mum cuts the grade then.

Boys toys

I have a hobby!  Nitro and electric remote control 'things' The garage includes a nitro monstor truck and buggy, a (brushless) electric buggy, a fixed pitch helicopter, a collective pitch helicopter and a plane.  The buggy's and truck are 1/10th scale - I have asked Santa for a 1/8th buggy for Christmas - promised I'll be good!

Soccer Goal

The picture below is the goal I built for Toby after his team came first in the Brisbane Northside under 7's - about $45 worth of piping and netting from Bunnings!
